Introducing d&b En-Space Custom Rooms
03-02-2025We're happy to announce the latest addition to the d&b Soundscape family: En-Space Custom Rooms, a customisation service that allows users to achieve personalised room acoustics.
What is Custom Rooms?
Custom Rooms is a chargeable measurement service and addresses owners of a Soundscape system who would like to use the acoustic characteristics of a specific space within their Soundscape system. The service, which is charged separately to the customer, involves a detailed En-Space measurement using our custom-built loudspeakers and measurement equipment. The resulting data is made available exclusively to the customer for use in their Soundscape system. Sharing this data within the public d&b En-Space library offers additional discount.

Whether in the studio, on stage, outdoors or on tour, En-Space Custom Rooms enables organisations, creative teams, and artists to incorporate their signature acoustics into any performance or recording, overcoming the limitations of traditional audio environments. From creating immersive rehearsal spaces that mirror a concert hall’s acoustics to transporting an orchestra’s home venue to another space—or even outdoors—Custom Rooms provides endless possibilities for sound design across music, art, and architectural projects.
Ordering procedure
You can request a custom measurement via an e-mail to custom.rooms@dbaudio.com to discuss details. Once the project details are confirmed, d&b experts will carry out the measurment on site. The custom room data will either be exclusive to the customer, or publicly shared, depending on the agreement with d&b.
